Posting these as just an indication of how the obeast stands right now. The legs are both cast and are in the process of being puttied and sanded; the same is true for the hands (which will soon be cast as part of the arms). The arm molds are constructed and await casting. The head is cast, puttied, glass eyes inserted, etc. I began the process of layering the silicone rubber skin of the head today. The rubber will lose its gloss when I finish the whole process, and look pretty skin-like (hopefully).
Wow I love that face. The expression is marvelous and the portrait is fun.
