This afternoon the lovely folks at Jezebel did a post about my MOCS project! (click here to check it out!) As a long time fan of this social/political/pop culture blog am beyond thrilled to be recognized by these gurus, and by the astonishing 40,000 views the post has gotten so far. (Update: it’s just over 85,000 now. Not that I’m checking obsessively.)
Anecdote: Like any human being who gets good news I was excited to tell my mom about the post. To this Mom replied, without missing a beat, that my grandparents used to have a black chicken named Jezebel when she was growing up. Touche, Mom.
George Bush doesn’t care about that chicken.
That’s true. Except as an entree.
