Rachel Herrick is an artist based in Raleigh, NC whose conceptual mixed media work uses satire to explore the anxiety and stigma surrounding obesity in American culture. Herrick has a B.A. in Writing from Methodist University and an MFA from the Maine College of Art. Rachel and her husband Carl have too many cats and VHS tapes.
